Pet Hospice Comfort Care Plans
Following your required initial 60-90 minute appointment with one of our veterinarians in the comfort of your home, you will meet your primary hospice nurse and discuss what they and the Doctor feel is the best plan for your pet. The Hospice Care Plan recommended will be based on the needs of your pet at the time of the doctor’s visit.
During your Initial In-Home Nurse Visit, your primary nurse will discuss what they, and the Doctor, feel is the best plan for your pet. The Hospice Care Plan recommended will be based on the needs of your pet at the time of the doctor’s visit.
All Comfort Care Plans include:
- 24-hour Medical Emergency access to the on-call Veterinarian*
- After-Hours Euthanasia Services*
- Discounted services**
- Increased communication with our medical staff
- More personal care and attention for you and your pet
All Comfort Care Hospice patients are required to have an in-home nurse exam every 3 months (regardless of plan level), a doctor’s exam every 6 months (this can be a telehealth appointment), and an in-home doctor’s examination once a year. These required examinations are not included in the cost of your monthly comfort care plan.

Advanced Hospice Care

- Four in-home nurse exams/month
- Four nurse telehealth comfort assessments/month
- 15% off all CVH services, including lab work, additional exams, home euthanasia services.
Level II
Intermediate Hospice Care
$295/month
- Two in-home nurse exams/month
- Two nurse telehealth comfort assessments/month
- 10% off all CVH services, including lab work, additional exams, home euthanasia services.
Level III
Early Hospice Care
$185/month
- One in-home nurse exam/month
- Two nurse telehealth comfort assessments/month
- 5% off CVH services
Level IV
Palliative Care Plan
$105/month
- Two nurse telehealth comfort assessments/month
- One in-home nurse visit every three months (in place of that month’s telehealth)
