Pet Hospice Comfort Care Plans

Following your required initial 60-90 minute appointment with one of our veterinarians in the comfort of your home, you will meet your primary hospice nurse and discuss what they and the Doctor feel is the best plan for your pet.  The Hospice Care Plan recommended will be based on the needs of your pet at the time of the doctor’s visit. 

During your Initial In-Home Nurse Visit, your primary nurse will discuss what they, and the Doctor, feel is the best plan for your pet.  The Hospice Care Plan recommended will be based on the needs of your pet at the time of the doctor’s visit. 

All Comfort Care Plans include:

• 24-hour Medical Emergency access to the on-call Veterinarian*
• After-Hours Euthanasia Services*
• Increased communication with our medical staff
• More personal care and attention for you and your pet
• Level 1 Comfort Care plans offer an additional 10% discount on all CVH services**

All Comfort Care Hospice patients are required to have an in-home nurse exam every 3 months (regardless of plan level), a doctor’s exam every 6 months (this can be a telehealth appointment), and an in-home doctor’s examination once a year. These required examinations are not included in the cost of your monthly comfort care plan.
